Alex Murphy (Jr), Chris Chiozza (So), DeVon Walker (Jr), Justin Leon (Jr), John Egbunu (So), Kevarrius Hayes (Fr), Keith Stone (Fr)

First off, they have no bigs. They literally have 2 guys listed over 6'9, and neither have ever played a game. Also, they lack shooting (Allen is really the only guy I see and he's a Freshman). Losing both Eli Carter AND Michael Frazier hurts. If they had one of them, it would be a much more potent offense.

On the positive, they have 2 solid PG's in Chiozza and Hill, a veteran who can do it all in Finney-Smith, and 3 wings in Robinson, Francis and Allen who all have good skills.

Unfortunately for them, there isn't a single spot they are better than UK, and their strengths are UK's strengths. The only match-up that might favor them would be Finney-Smith vs Poythress, or Robinson vs Murray, but traditionally those players wouldn't necessarily be matched, but are forced to due to UF's lack of size (DFS is a 3, Poy is a 4, Robinson is a 3, Murray is a 2)

This is something Ive been watching. Unless Cal significantly changes his coaching and strategy, I think it will be a long year for the cats. Their main pieces are Poythress, Lee, Hawkins and Willis. This is a significant downgrade in frontcourt athleticism from years past.

Those Gator basketball fans are on top of everything.

We also return Ulis and he is one of the best point guards in the country. Our front court has three future NBA players so the talent is there but there is a lack of depth. However UK can play four guards if need be. Florida will suck next year so they can't talk trash. However it is the offseason so I expect our rival teams to talk trash but it will stop as the season progresses.
