should we be worried?
They played OVC team, and the 80th ranked Ark State and 101 ranked UConn...
I think KY is their first "real" challenge this year, and they lost some good defensive players last year.
So, based on who they've played so far this year, do you think the Mizz. D is overrated?
Will we be able to move the chains easier than we did against FL last week?
I think they still have a good D, but are somewhat over rated, and I think Towles will have easier time than he did against FL getting the offense going. I just hope SD decides to open things up a bit this time
GO CATS!

Missouri's won 23 games the last 2 years, have won 11 straight road games. Their D is very good, don't be fooled by their year to date. The team you'll see today will play fast and physical. UK'll have to step up their game to match them. Just don't understand people underestimating them.

No one has a clue. It's hard to get an idea of how good they are when playing Ark St and UConn. The way they look they likely won't be near Florida level but much better than some. Their front line is good. The secondary can be exploited well......but that depends more on Towles/WRs than Missou's ability

True. About all that can be said of their defense is, heretofore, they have dominated lesser opponents. I have not seem them play but I suspect their defense is quite good (it usually is). From their perspective I think it will be "can we score enough to win"? IMO, in a probable low scoring defensive game, the team most likely to "break a big one" has an advantage, i.e., hard to be good defensively every single play. That would favor UK.

Peace

That is the 64 dollar question because they have played nobody

Their coach and staff have a history of getting peak production from the talent they have....especially on D. We will face a team with fair talent that has been well prepared with a solid game plan to take advantage of match-ups. Add to it that their coaching staff has a track record for making key in-game adjustments.

In short: We won't be out-talented by Missouri....the only question is will we be able to match their preparation, game-plan, and adjustments?

GBB!!!

I think you have called it.I will go a bit more out on a limb....a win today and fans can begin to plan around a bowl trip,a loss and we can hold off on those plans for a while longer.

They're not as good on defense as Florida...

Yes, they've won the east for the last two years in a row..... This year, they haven't played anyone as yet, and UK has been tested and proven to be a pretty good team...

Not to be a downer but how has UK proven they are a pretty good team?

Disagree. Mizzou's secondary is very solid. Better than last season. Towles isn't good enough to exploit anything so you can give up that idea. We've been waiting for that to happen the past 7 games.

Well, if your into these sort of comparisons, UConn could only muster 18 pts vs. Navy today which I think bodes well for UK. I know Navy's triple option offensive attack is tough to prepare for but they're not necessarily famous for playing studly defense. This is just a hunch, but maybe the Mizzou's strength of schedule played a factor in padding their defensive stats? We'll find out soon.
