Have these made it to KY yet?

I've lived here my entire life, never seen one. Didn't even know we had them in KY. Is this real?
From this post I assume you live in the eastern third of the state, or you live in Louisville or Lexington.

Armadillos are all over the western third of the state.

I didn't even know we had them until I saw one in Somerset a few years ago. Have some buddies in Boyd County that swear they found some nests on the banks of the Big Sandy.

They way things are going, you may be glad to find an armadillo to eat.

We pick up roadkill in Arkansas and dump them in Kentucky all of the time.
My son was in grad school at the University of Arkansas a few years ago. We drove out to visit and probably 50 miles or so from Fayetteville, we started seeing all the roadkills. Closer we got to Fayetteville, the more we saw. It was amazing how many there were.
