You take over the ball with about 4-1/2 minutes to go and only a 4 point lead. And you end the game in the victory formation. THAT is how you win football games in America's best conference. It tells me a lot about this football team.
It's not always about how many yards you get. In tough games it's frequently about getting the few you need when you when you REALLY need them. I learned tonight that this team can do that on the road in the SEC. I like that.Amen
The fellowship of the miserable can always find something to complain about. But when we absolutely needed first downs, we got them. That's how you win football games in the SEC. Because there aren't many blowouts. We ran the ball 25 and a 1/2 minutes to set up the pass on that drive , I like it .
The obvious thing is that we won an SEC road game for the first time in six years. But you're not happy with the play calling. I guess Mark Stoops should be on the hot seat.I'm not miserable , very satisfied that we won . But you can't ignore the obvious , that did not go according to plan in fact it was a second half meltdown on offense . If you think that was a well crafted game plan that was helpful in sealing up the victory then I disagree . This has been a pattern going back to last year , I'm hoping it's not something that continues because that strategy will no get you ahead in this conference .
Well let's just paste a picture of the scoreboard and stop making threads , no point in discussing the game . When you click on wildcat lair you get the scoreboard , that's all that matters amirite .The obvious thing is that we won an SEC road game for the first time in six years. But you're not happy with the play calling. I guess Mark Stoops should be on the hot seat.
