He has taken a lot of criticism by some fans this season but he is a hellava player! Wish we could keep him for another year!

Where does Murray Rank among Cal recruits At Kentucky? He is making case for top 3 behind Davis and Towns IMO! Maybe BEST gaurd or at least Cals best off guard at UK.
But he can't play defense, he's another Archie Goodwin, blah, blah, blah.
Plus he's a tournament player. March could be fun.
You might want to mix in John Wall and Demarcus Cousins on that list. For starters.
He's playing within the flow of the game now and his efficiency has shot through the roof. Once it clicked that he's playing with probably the best "set-up PG" in college hoops, he realized he could let Tyler do the creating for him. Since then his turnovers have reduced and his efficiency has improved. No doubt one of the best offensive players we've had under Coach Cal.
Your bot gonna find too much praise for him on this board. Seems the guys who praised Briscoe prior to Murray coming On board hate him. Also the Willis crowd hates him, oh the Ulis ones as well.
For some reason our fanbase has a specific player they love and one more they hate. Seems Murray is the player of choice of hate by a good majority of the base.
Dude could have 60 points 20 boards, 20 assists, 10 steals, 10 blocks and 0 turnovers and you wouldn't see any congrats from them just silence. Until the next game where he shoots 3/7 from 3 and the gnashing of teeth is all you see. Even though Ulis would be 1/5 and Briscoe 0/7 and Willis 2/5.
Just the way it is. Kid deserves the praise from everyone just like the rest of the players on the team.

I don't know how many times I have to say it, but he has been playing much better since the black hole post. He has been better working on moving without the ball and Ulis has been great getting him the ball in scoring position. Less bad things happen when he doesn't have to do much more than get open and shoot the ball. He is basically a full time shooting guard now and not a point guard. That has benefited his game greatly.
Id have to research it but percentage wise with min of an avg of 6 makes per gm the 14 of 20 may be the best back to back three point shooting gms in UK history. 7 of 10 avg in back to back gms? I highly doubt its ever been done before today.
Murray's shooting and Ulis' passing and penetration is becoming more and more deadly esp. with Willis lurking at damn near 40% as well.

He reclassified to this year. He was originally a '16 recruit.
And yeah, I agree with everyone that I'm really stoked about his play these last 2 games. We're reeeeeally hard to beat when he's shooting like that.
That he should be a senior in high school. I thought he came out early. I'm probably wrong.
It's been a treat watching him light it up the last couple games (all year, really). Scoring machine. He gets hot in March and we can beat anyone. That being said ... I would prefer to avoid Hield and OU.

Ohh..I don't know why that flew over my head.. that's a good point.. the good ones get it ear lier. . Hope he keeps it up
