Hope some decisions go our way. Cant believe Cal isn't working on something. . To many things that could break. I'm thinking some will go our way

UK fans sure deserve some positive news.This offseason has been a nightmare so far.

I’m left with no choice but to assume the best and that we will be pleasantly surprised with a couple of the decisions next week.
You‘d at least thought God would have told Oscar what to do by now.
With Cal in the equation it is a tough choice.
something to consider....Reeves, Livingston, and Oscar to a degree having these last day workout..is a sign of desperation for them...not likely they are gonna all get good news
It will be a relief to finally see what we are facing even if it's bad news.I don't see any drama from Chris as he was always gone but I still have hopes for Oscar and Reeves.
We will see... these guys should just come back and get another year of NIL $$$.
Their stock will be the same regardless but at least they will get their $$$ and exposure compared to no $$$ and bench time.

And when they come back they'll have letters hot off the press stating how much they enjoy the University of Kentucky and never wanted to leave. Before anyone assumes otherwise, I feel bad for these kids with hoops dreams of making millions of dollars and feeling like they let down the world while their teammates go on to better things. With NIL, the fans are getting the shaft here.

Yes these are great times for the Kentucky basketball program. We can’t get transfers from mid major programs to play here but since Cal is the Coach I’m super excited.
Either way we'll have a very young but talented roster and the good news is we've won that way in the past. Ironically even more winning than the experienced ones recently.
After Reeves play in the combine he’s not getting drafted, Livingston may with Klutch having that much pull in the league, and Oscar definitely could get a guaranteed 2nd round deal. I hope we get them back though. Our season hangs on them right now.

Your belief-in-Cal addiction will be behind you one day and you will have a hard time believing that it took so long to break it. It is simply wishful thinking to believe that one day the Cal who has been trending down the last 5 years at the rate of a falling rock will one day defy gravity. The Cal you once knew or thought you knew is gone. The players who are leaving realize it which is why they are leaving and one day his diehard fans will realize it too. Cal's recruiting woes or his inability to hang onto players isn't simply a temporary period of bad luck that will change. It is simply the lost ability to coach which has caused potential recruits to be advised to not look at UK. It is a hard reality to accept but the sooner you do the sooner you will stop the pain of disappointment.

It’s pretty crappy to be at this point with hope all you have left. Every legit contender next year has the majorities of their rosters set and will recruit everyone in the portal just to trash uk to make sure guys don’t go here. That’s what’s happening
Since the changes to transfers we haven’t won dick squat. We had a stacked roster with young guys in 2020. Not much different on paper than this one. We won 9 games dude. That formula of freshmen laden teams winning titles has been upended by nil and the transfer portal. I don’t care how good Bradshaw is he’s not gonna do much against a 25 year old man with decent skill in the post. Bobby knight continuously “doing it like he used to” is why he crapped the bed. The foundation of the game has changed and cal didn’t even see it happening. Now if he can bring the 3 back we can be a top 10 team but that’s still far off from what the expectations have been for this season
Camp Cal will fix this...I mean a tweak, yeah that's it...ugh, no a double-secret silent verbal from a new portal player...maybe a South American point guard no one has heard about will commit. Trust in Cal!

Ironically, most of us fell for it again. Some insider posts that we will get news in the "next few days" and we get zero, nada, nothing. We get a post that says Reeves is most likely gone and we get meltdown. On and on and on we could go. Tucker, Pilgrim, and Jones are nothing more than hypsters who want everyone to think that they know more than than they do.
No wonder we keep electing the same idiots over and over and over. We are sheep following the wolves.
With over 1400 players in the portal I'd say it's happening to a lot of schools not just us
Yes but it happened to us for the past 14 years so this crap is really old. The rest of college basketball is starting to experience what we've had to since Cal's been here. No connection to your team and no experience playing with each other so there's no cohesion and an awful product to watch.
I will always be a UK fan and never miss a game but college basketball is so bad now that i can't watch random games anymore. I'll still watch the blue bloods because it's fun to pull against them but I just can't watch S. Carolina-Ole Miss on a Tuesday night.
No one really does. Not even his sychophants on here. They just want to be contrarian, but even they are struggling at this point to defend this mess. He’s failing at his job.
It is happening everywhere. Kids are maneuvering for better playing time and NIL$$$ situations throughout the country. College basketball is now musical chairs, if not the wild wild west, unfortunately.

Currently Auburn and UK have 7 players all other SEC teams have at least 10. We have 3 in limbo and I believe all have less than 30% chance to return.
When one considers all the errors in team management that Cal has had in the past 3 years I think our current situation is an all time low. In the event that none of the limbo players return where do we find players to fill out a 10 man roster?
Most incoming frosh hit a wall of development in February or thereabouts. If we are forced to play frosh the minutes required to put a team on the floor then ours will hit the wall by late December before the conference season starts. Injuries become more of a concern due to excessive minutes played by each player(not just the best players)
We will likely get at least some positive news before the season begins but I don't see how there will be enough positives to dig us out of the hole we are in. How does the Canada trip play out with skeleton crew we have on hand?

And how do you know that Cal and the staff aren't working on something? Most of the things coaching staffs are doing are not announced to the public and not known until the deal is done.
