Ah...that would be doubling your salary plus another half. Of course he would take that kind of raise. The difference in what he would make by leaving would probably be a small fraction. People turn down more money all the time to stay at a place where they are happy. If you think about it, being happy and content are some of the more important things in life. If more money doesn't bring you more happiness then what is the point?Originally posted by UKStoops81:
I hope he gets paid!
I don't understand people wanting him to take a drop in salary to pay at a certain place. If you had a job offer of $500,000 would you take $200,000 and stay at your current job? NOPE. You would be GONE
Never, please no steelers and no browns. lolOriginally posted by Robcatt24:

He is classier than thatOriginally posted by Robcatt24:

Why would he want to play for that train wreck of team in Nashville. Cobb will remain in GB, and have a nice career. Just remember, he turned down a contract extension last season because he said he hadn't done anything to earn it. He has earned it now, and GB will pay to keep him in the Green, in more ways than one. lol!Originally posted by Oak_Hill:
The best decision he could possibly make is by going home to play for the Tennessee Titans!!! I can only hope lol
Itll turn around, i would love to see him in Two Tone Blue!Originally posted by BIGBLUEQ:

Please, anyone BUT the Packers. As a VIKINGS fan, I wanted to vomit when he was drafted.
NFL contracts are pretty meaningless with the exception of the guaranteed money.Originally posted by Lewdogg:
My guess has been that Randall Cobb re-signs with The Packers, with contract terms of 5 years @ $40,000,000 - $14,000,000 guaranteed. As of a couple of days ago, reports were that Cobb is asking for roughly $9,000,000 / year. I think he'd re-sign with Green Bay for the $8,000,000 / year "guess", but would look for the $9,000,000 / year from another team. I hope he stays in Green Bay ... The Packers have a 3 to 5 year window in which they can contend for Super Bowls.
Easy brother lol I was totally just playing! As a Titans fan I would love it. But strictly for business purposes I think he should stay in GB. With Rodgers and a decent defense he will always be in the playoffs and be contending for the Super Bowl. He and Rodgers can be one of the most lethal combo's in the NFL. With Nelson and the Adams kid coming out of nowhere the Packers future is bright.Originally posted by BIGBLUEQ:

IMO Luck is already a top five NFL QB. He just doesn't have the supporting staff that he needs.Originally posted by UKStoops81:
I wouldn't mind to see him as a Colt. I think Luck will grow into a top 5 QB.
Haha, the main reason the Pack beat the Bears is because the Bears, SUCK! They haven't had a QB worth diddly squat sine McMahon retired. lol!Originally posted by ukinhc:

He has been great and the Packers are a great organization, but for the love of God, please don't let him be the main reason the Bears lose to the Packers again.
My Bears need a QB and an offensive line... Cobb uses to play QB. hmmmOriginally posted by BIGBLUEQ:

Hope you're talking about defense and at RB! They have great recievers and oline play! Sad thing is Andy Dalton whom most consider a failure has stat almost identicalOriginally posted by C1180:

IIRC, not a single KC wide receiver caught a TD pass last season. That's a remarkable stat. KC is a black hole for receivers. For Cobb to shine, he needs to play in GB, New England, Pittsburgh, Indy, or Seattle.Originally posted by dbem1:
Saw an article on Espn website about Kansas City considering to try to sign Randal Cobb... Sure hope GB is smart enough to keep him.
