Is he more Josh Allen or Taysom Hill? I know he unquestionably has elite arm strength but is it accurate arm strength to the point he can live up to the hype next level? I love the dude his toughness and leadership for the record.

Josh Allen was a below 60% passer in college. Flourished when given professional coaching & surrounded by professional teammates.

Who knows the future, but everything I've seen is that Levis is a serious guy who will get in the NFL and start for a decade. He wants it, hasn't had it just handed to him like 5* guys, has a fantastic work ethic, teammates love his desire.

He’s more Josh Allen. 19/14 and 12/11 were his TD/INT the two years he played the most. Levis is clearly better than that just at Kentucky.

Josh Allen is my favorite QB right now, just an exceptional mix of skills. I’d pick him over anyone in the league.

Levis is at least on par with where Allen was at the same stage in their career. Will he put it together and be an elite NFL qb that remains to be seen. But if I’m a team that needs a QB I’d have a hard time not taking him in the first 10 picks.

The upside is just too high, and we’ve seen what a guy like Allen can do. He’s turned an annual loser into the most talked about team in the country.

Levis has been pretty accurate this year when he’s had a clean pocket...he gets happy feet w pressure. If he has a good #1WR and good OLine I think he will excel right away. If he’s being rushed and doesn’t have a true playmaker he may struggle initially

I think it's a fair question to ask.

1. I wouldn't go so far as to drop him to Taysom Hill level. Taysom has no arm like Levis but he's a really good athlete and around the same size and weight...and both built like a truck.
2. Josh Allen was no world beater at Wyoming...56% completion percentage for about 3k yards. 26 TDs but 15 picks is his best year. But his size and arm was what it was all about.

Levis has a similar arm talent to Josh Allen but Taysom Hill is not in the same ballpart arm wise as either. But Will isn't an elite college QB. He just isn't. Failed to score twice in 4th qtr of Ole Miss game....he sort of lost that game to be fair. His accuracy comes and goes during games. Decision making with never throwing the ball away and some bad Ints is part of his resume. Levis will have his shot to carry UK to a win vs. UT and UGA.

But he's a helluva QB. I'm glad we have him. And a NFL team will love to take a shot at him and groom him to see if he can morph into a Josh Allen. And he might just be able to make it huge in NFL>

It really depends on who gets him, but I could see Levis developing to be better than Josh Allen. He's already ahead of where Allen was at this point of his career.

But Will isn't an elite college QB. He just isn't. >

He would be elite in a system that valued putting points on the board. His completion percentage is equal to Hooker and a little better than Bryce Young. We just don't play a style that is going to put up amazing offensive stats. We are one of the bottom teams in the nation in snaps per game. He does great at what he is asked to do. He made some incredible throws last week that very few college QBs have the ability to make..

That's the thing, quarterbacks in the NFL don't get a ton of clean pockets. It's how they handle the hurried clock that makes a quaterback stick or not stick at that level. Levis will get there, he looked much better handling it against State. Most quarterbacks not named Manning or Brady would struggle against the pressure Levis has had to deal with this year but it also is good preparation for his growth.

He has allowed 5-7 sacks himself by not getting rid of the football

Any incompletion is better than a sack

And he needs to learn that fast

Levis will make it in the NFL IMO. He still has a lot to learn but you can't teach that arm talent and that toughness when scrambling. When he has nothing to do but perfect his craft, he will make huge strides at the next level. Those coaches at the next level will drill it into his head about reading keys from the defense.

Carbon copy of Allen, thought so the first time I saw him.
He is but Josh has little better escapability than Will right now. Will is really athletic but not quick footed and can be a little slow getting started to escape. If he gets better at that then he is a close IMO.

Levis last game was his best as a QB imo. He made some nice anticipation throws on quick decisions that he just hasn't shown up to then.

In a weird way, him being so banged up might help him as a QB. At the least it's shown he's making renewed focus on speeding up the clock.

True, a lot of the sacks in the 1st 6 games were on him holding on too long.

Part of the learning phase, last yr he was allowed to break the pocket & scramble if Wandale was covered. This yr Scan & Stoops want him to hang in & distribute the ball to teammates.

Def think he showed progress on getting rid of it to avoid sacks last game.

It's pretty concerning to me that they wouldn't let the potential number 1 pick throw that pass at the end of the first half. I'm pretty shocked that the mistakes from the Ole Miss game didn't hurt his draft projection but the next Josh Allen is a pretty big prize if it works out.

Id say the end of OM game weighed heavy in stoops decision there...Had 3 and the tie minimum there and our OL got whipped and we lost. Or maybe the ravens Bengals game a couple weeks ago when Taylor gambled on 4th down and came up with 0 instead of 3 and lost by 2. In a low scoring game you always take the points IMO

Yet, he had him throw a 4th and goal-to-go from the 3 yard line late in the 3rd. I wanted us to take the points and trail only by 10-9, with 18 game minutes left.

Let's just say this: Stoops' calls in those two situations resulted in 10 points . . . in a 10 point victory.
