It may be that Hendrix has SEC talent, but that the talent in front of him was better. I wonder if that is a possible explanation. Players stuck down the depth chart at SEC schools transfer all of the time and people do not declare that they did not have SEC talent. Transferring to a mid-major will make it more possible for an SEC talent to play sooner and compete. Because we know schools like BG have SEC caliber talent.
I think this is just another indication of how our talent level is increasing, sounds like he is a good student and is transferring for all the right reasons, I also wish him well.
No doubt. Best of luck to him. Not too hard to understand a kid wanting to get some real PT at some point in his career, and it sounds very likely that he began to have his doubts that he would at UK. More than that, he is now closer to home. Since he is headed back to NoOhio, he might also have any number of personal reasons to make the switch that have nothing to do with football. Football isn't everything just because you enjoy it and can compete at a high level.
Dayton Is actually about the same distance from Bowling Green as it is to Lexington, but I otherwise would agree with your points. No doubt. Best of luck to him. His rankings certainly suggest that he is a SEC talent, though, granted, the rankings are wrong on occasion. It could just be a situation where the light bulb hadn't really come on yet, who knows? For some players, even good ones, it just takes more time to develop.Yeah absolutely. Where he ended up is pretty telling of the fact that maybe the coaches didn't see him as SEC-caliber talent. It would only do him a disservice by keeping him around and now he can go to the mid-majors and excel.

Forgot he was from Dayton. Had him from the Cleveland area in my mind.Dayton Is actually about the same distance from Bowling Green as it is to Lexington, but I otherwise would agree with your points.
