I attended the game last night with the wife and my two boys and stayed until the end hoping for a miracle finish that never happened. I have never seen the stadium as energized and rocking like it was. The environment was electric and the addition of the pompoms to the student section really made for a great football atmosphere. Not sure what it would cost but only could imagine if the whole stadium had them. Wish we had them in our section. Obviously our offense has a ton of issues that needs major repairs that pompoms aren't going to solve but for the first time, I actually felt like we were in a big time college football atmosphere at UK with a real chance of ending the wretched streak. I have been a fan for 40+ years and love UK football. Although we were bitterly disappointed with the loss, I still like the direction we are heading in.
