To be fair, he did have a team comeback from 15 down (2018 v WVU in the Big12/SEC challenge, aka the Kevin Knox game). Looking quickly at Big Blue History, I believe Cal had 4 wins when trailing by 10 or more at half. In 14 seasons, that's really not many... Meanwhile Pope is 1-0 in those game (and we trailed by 10+ vs Duke, but only 9 at halftime).
