As a fan base we are in a weird spot. But here is the question. Does Sumrall do better or worse than stoops for less money? Let’s be honest he’s the first on Mitch’s list if stoops retires tomorrow.

Do you think Liam Coen would coach under him?

Something needs to be done. Good on Stoops for getting us where we are. However, we seem to be regressing and that's unacceptable for someone making what he is. Leary has been abysmal. This season has truly been a train wreck.

I haven’t seen any of Sumrall’s games so I’m not sure what type of offense he runs but I’ve seen multiple people on here talk about how he runs a similar grind it out offense. If that’s the case, Sumrall won’t be successful if he was hired here. Its awfully hard to be successful in college football these days being afraid to score.

Yeah same but just looking at the stats, their current QB is pushing 2500 yards this season and their running back has 1200 yards on the ground. I know the competition isn’t the same but the number are pretty good. Their only losses are against a ranked Kansas ST and 2 point loss to a pretty good and undefeated James Madison team. Sumrall is winning football games.
