Pope did such a wonderful job building this roster on the fly bringing in shooters AND 3 previous defensive players of the year. Paid off big time tonight!
Coach summed it all up in post game remarks when he said they fought through so much frustration and bad sets and being taken out of their rhythm etc and overcame it all with pure heart toughness and grit.

I used to kind of crudely evaluate whether our defense was good based on whether they could hold teams to 25 in a half or 50 in a game. I was going to have to update that because of how fast Pope plays and the defense goes and has a second half like that.
