Hawgs getting Henpecked

The SEC is weird. Georgia losing at home to USC and Auburn. LSU losing to MISS State and Tennessee. Florida imploding.

It's March in Arkansas.

Watching game earlier. Turned it off thinking USC had given up. Wrong.

teams like UT , Vandy and USC are the type of teams who can beat anyone but also be beat by anyone . This honestly doesn't surprise me . Arkansas is a top 20 team but that doesn't mean they don't lose games like this . hell everyone not named UK and UVA have lost games like this .

it shouldn't as this is college basketball. Duke gets destroyed by Miami the Miami team who lost to Eastern Kentucky and so on and so forth. Everyone loses games against teams they should blow out . But it doesn't bold well for Arkansas this close to the tourney.

I fully expect our SECT championship game to be against someone like Vandy or this USC team . I think alot of the conferences will end up with weird teams in the championship games as well. Could see things like Miami vs duke for the ACC , K State vs Ok St for Big 12 and what not .

I agree, but my main point is that it's just another upper echelon SEC team laying an egg against a team it should easily beat. South Carolina isn't ungodly terrible, but they aren't good either and Arkansas should take care of business in a game like this. I think the best thing college basketball has going for it is the parity in the game. Georgia played their asses off against us Tuesday night and looked like a team that could make a good run in the Tournament, but it won't surprise me one bit if they go down and lose at Auburn on Saturday.

Road games are tough, but Arkansas is looking horrendous. Out of their last three games, they've played just two halves where their defense wasn't absolutely terrible. Their defense is a sieve when they aren't forcing turnovers.

Yes but it has zero to do with the SEC . It is college basketball in general . Some like to spew this narrative that the SEC is worse and sucks and use this as evidence but it happens all the time in every conference . Pitt beating the crap out of UNC , the aformentioned ass whoopings duke got by Nc St and UM , Zona losing to ASU and so on. I do agree thought with LSU it is tad much . Losing to UT isn't bad as UT is decent like USC and Vandy but you can't lose to UT AND Auburn AND Mizzou AND Miss St all in the same year . Everybody gets a mulligan or 2 . Not 4 . Johhny Jones sucks .

Roe07- actually it would surprise me if Georgia wins against Auburn, seen it happen way too many times over the years, sad really.

more about lamecocks choking, missed dunk, 2 missed layups and three straight from the line, all in the last 5 minutes.

312th in FG percentage for a reason - laughable

class of the titans

Arkansas was safely in either way, but it's good for both them and the SEC that rhey were able to pull that game out in the end. I feel bad for South Carolina with one of their seniors and key players, Johnson, going out with cramps. But still, Arkansas showed some heart.

Had the Hogs not come back and won this game, their seeding would've taken a hit. Good thing they didn't fold.

I've noticed a pattern in a lot of our road games. Get 20+ lead in first half, lose lead and trail by 5-10 most of second half, come back and scratch out a win with about 2-3 minutes left.

Better than the other way around I guess.

I'm happy they won, as I'd love to add another double digit win over a ranked team to our resume just for S&G next Sunday...although I doubt Arkansas gets there.

Arkansas sitting pretty at 24-6. If they take down LSU Saturday, and win a pair in the SEC tournament, they could be on line for a 4 seed.
