I watched a couple of 1998 games last week and I was wondering the exact same thing. A lot of things stood out in stark contrast to this year’s team.

I'm glad charges aren't called anymore. It was dangerous bullshit and a cheap thing refs loved to make a scene about.

But the blocking out...I mean...our guys are soft (there's no denying that) but in so many games they are also being absolutely SUPPLANTED in rebounding battles (in ways that are far from legal). Anyone watch Watson on Saturday? That prick was throwing people ten feet off their spot with no call. Horrible refs.
