I believe we have. Tonight really has me questioning whether I'm done with him or not. But I have believed we have gotten as high on the SEC ladder as we can with Stoops for awhile. I was just OK with it. But after tonight I might not be anymore.
I’m the same way, but these past 2 years, having home losses to SCAR, vandy, & Mizzou, and looking like crap anytime they play a good team has me questioning stoops

I'm afraid so. I've tried to be optimistic for as long as I could but 10 years into a tenure still suffering the hangover effect in games after a clunker. He obviously elevated the program to win 10 games a couple of times but definitely feel this is the ceiling for Kentucky Football. The league will only get tougher with OU & Texas. As one of the highest paid coaches you have to expect more and if Kentucky had built off the 10-win seasons and sustain it would not feel this way right now. The lack of discipline this team shows has been a theme over his tenure.

With this era of transfer portal and NIL all it takes is the right hire. Stoops was good 10 years ago. When rebuilds took years and years. Not anymore.

He never had that big season. He's been here for 10 plus years and had ok years. Beating louisville is nice. It's why he's still here. But if he just had that one hig break out year or the program he'd get a life time contract. No new years bowl and not near a playoff. Got the program to a top 30. But that's not good enough in a what can you do for me now world. Plus he's over payed by 3M a year.

Agreed...dump Mark and give the reins to Liam.....it sure seems Liam has been handcuffed by CMS this time around . But who are we kidding. Barnhart lacks the stones to make a move. He will sit quietly and watch it burn .

Nope it takes $$$$$ Richard and since UK is the premier basketball program in the nation where do you think most of the NIL $$$ is going and that with much fewer players to pay?
Stoops slipped up with his comment but its true.
Kentucky is at a crossroads now and its pretty clear which sport its choosing to invest in.

I say yes. I’ve thought this going back to last year, and tonight certainly just hammered that home. He did a good job building us from a joke into an average to above average team, but the lack of growth and ability to adapt from him is starting to get pretty frustrating. He’s still aiming to win low scoring games with ball control and defense even though the game has almost entirely evolved out of that mold, still playing a passive defense that limits big plays at the expense of getting shredded in the intermediate range by modern offenses, still sending out undisciplined teams that commit bunches of bonehead penalties, often of the personal foul variety, etc. With teams like Tennessee and Missouri seemingly back on the upswing and Texas and Oklahoma joining next year, I have a hard time seeing us match the best seasons he’s already had, let alone surpassing them.

My 20 year old account with 5000 posts was banned 2 weeks ago for simply saying Stoops was overpaid. Guess the mods will be working overtime tonight!

To the people calling for the OC to be the next head coach, LIam hand picked this QB1. Could've had the kid that is at Florida, but picked this one. The QB is the problem with this offense.

I am not happy at all, but am a NO. I have been here 40+ years. After a few of his years, I thought, get rid of him.... and then not great, play but the players seemed to like him. I thought as we had been....no good, players liked him... go on.

Stoops has got us thinking way more than before(late 80's on...I went to every home game in 82). Yes he is off track, but lets not go back to what it was. I have faith, woohoo, I think I have more faith in him than anyone I know...

Figure it out coach, or get on a new plan than taking a new qb every year... huck says go, go, go cats

PS and bench the guys that cant focus enough to catch and getting stupid penalties (like pushing out of bounds) for 3-4 games... what is it, "Next man UP" give them a chance, let the mouthy ones think and watch others play in the spot

I think, Desire makes a good player
whew....figure it out... I may have had some drinks

We aren’t the premier basketball program anymore either
