Happy Travel and Tourism Week

That sounds appropriate. Popular tourist destinations and travel times should be secure from terrorists and those who can't get their shit together for 10+ years.

Now, that we have air traffic specialists being fired or walking off the job at this time? That's some bad timing.

People have had years to prepare for the Real ID requirement. Procrastinators have only themselves to blame. If you don't want to stand in line, apply for a US passport or passport card by mail. No big deal.

I always fly with my passport. My wife does the same but for some reason she decided to get a REALID because “what if my passport gets lost or stolen while traveling”.

Whatever. I’ve got Global Entry.

Have you had any issues with Pre Check lately? I fly a lot to LAX and just it’s becoming a shit show
Last time I flew, it looked like a LOT more people lined up in the 'pre-check' than us plebes in the other security lines. Maybe so many have signed up that it's no longer the time saver it used to be? Of course, you don't have to be half naked in the pre-check line but, honestly, I kind of dig that part of security :) .

Flew outbound 04/18. Inbound 04/22 between AUS and BNA. Pre-check line in Austin longer, but reason is TSA eliminated two pre-check stations.

Nashville was a breeze. No line. Flying again 05/23 outbound. 05/31 inbound between ATX and Tampa
