GYER34-0

Anyone think the NCAA is just waiting to see who wins the B10 and insert the last 1 & 2 seeds?

It would be easy to leave one region open and place either Virginia/Wisky in same bracket 1 & 2 depending on outcome.

So... Is the committee considering the B10 title game for seeding or not? They've said over the last couple of years that they will not consider the late Sunday games for anything other than whether a team gets in or not on an autobid but there's a lot of talk they've gone back on that now.

There are tough teams in our way but that doesn't seem to be an unfair path.

Notre Dame is the only team to be concerned about in this bracket. Happy with the committee for the first time ever.

We got the 3rd or 4th 2 seed and the 1st or 2nd 3 seed. As it should be.

Other than heading out to Seattle, UofL has to be feeling ok with their draw as well.

South might be a meat grinder... Nope.

So we only have to play one of Wisconsin or Arizona. Nice.

Indiana getting in means Cream a lock to stay?

Other than UCLA in I'm not seeing a great deal of room to complain.
West is toughest... South easiest... But all four brackets seem to be decently balanced.

Would have loved to see LSU as Duke's 8/9. Oh well.

Just in time for the tournament, we crack the top 5 in Kenpom offensive efficiency for the first time this season that I know of.

Top 5 in both is pretty incredible. Titus described our Kenpom ranking as "having to try to score on Virginia, then running back on defense to try and stop Notre Dame."

^our offense is getting really good and is so damn balanced.

-how frustrating is it to get KAT into foul trouble to have Dakari come in and play well? Probably as frustrating as Ulis dismantling your vaunted D. Really just not how you play this team.

-no problem with our bracket. Sinks getting Wisc on our side but can't bitch about final four match ups. Bracket seems pretty good, south seems light but it's not too bad.

-hourly Arkansas will stick around. Much better SEC rival than UF with fan support. They had a light crowd today but it wouldn't take much. Really hateable coach and style.

-tfoltz said it this weekend and I agree. Nashville has taken over my favorite SEC site. If you didn't witness the scene this weekend you missed out. Point blank. The celebration was like nothing I've seen and it's fair to say I've seen a lot of UK post season games. Dozens and dozens of honky Tonks literally over flowing and busting from the seems with uk fans. Just hanging out of windows and crammed into every nook and cranny. Insane. I pulled the plug last night at 10p. Mercy.

-Leggo. New season.

Duke got a cakewalk to the Sweet 16, but Iowa St. as their 3 = UH-OH.

Meanwhile, I'm just fine with our bracket. KU looked thrilled with it, too!

--I'm sure it is excellently-done, but I ain't watching that GD Laettner 30 for 30. I try to do everything to erase that memory from my mind.

--Touch the committee for putting IU in.

--Glad CBS made us 9:45. The reasons are I have to work until about 9 that night. And it has Kyle Tucker all torn up. Not necessarily in that order.

s Jay Williams and Gottlieb. I'll take it.

Nashville was great (I'm still here). I mean it's cool seeing the #BBN out in force, but it's a little painful. Everywhere is packed holes to elbows. Lines, lines, lines. It's expensive as hell...but I'm not complaing. Great trip, got to party with a bunch of Wildcat friends. Love you guys.

Kindly is still hot as balls. Lot of talent down here. Unreal actually.

Kayne Prime-worth the hype.
The Palm- no.

Gonna try Hattie's hot chicken for lunch tomorrow.

Fine with this bracket. Train is coming through, get out the way.

Saw the " Laettner" episode...yeah touch that guy. Do I feel as strongly as 20 years ago, no. But still touch him.

Can't wait for Louisville.

Tournament time!

Only downside is is all these asshats up here who don't pay attention all year now want to talk hoops and UK with me. ::rolleyes::

HOWEVA, tons of UCONN fans up here so really, really enjoying rubbing their noses in the shit of a season they had. So there's that.

-Great bracket, would have liked to have seen AZ on the other side but whatever. We good.

-We doing a bracket here?

-No call all week! Eeek.

-9:45 tip! Woot!

-We get Allie Laforce too. Shew.

Took off all day Thursday with about 5 other buddies and we get the 945 slot.....gonna be tough to make it that long without having a few cold ones.

Bracket going in today. Last year I CRUSHED the first two rounds, except for the fact it only saved one side of my bracket for some reason. DQ

Look, there's a lot basketbal left to be played, and anything can happen, but I have NEVER seen a team in ANY sport get the treatment UK is getting in terms of post season predictions. I mean, analysts are basically lol'ing at the notion that SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT WIN. I like it, but I hate it at the same time.

2007 Florida was similar, in terms of expectations. I know they weren't undefeated, but there was ZERO chance that another team was going to win the title.

It. was. a. zoo.

I met up w/ Clark and his crew on Saturday at this newer spot on 1st/Broadway called Acme that basically had the entire underage Keeneland college crowd there. Bros busting out with skin-tight jerseys/untied LL Bean duck boots with the chicks not looking stressed at all. Think they were out of bottled beers by 11AM? It was too much, honestly. I did get to meet B-Rax's sister though, so that was a plus.

Wow. Never seen anything like that. Was done after Friday night...somehow was able to rally Saturday night and felt like a million bucks around 9pm, but everyone was *else* was then done. Probably for the better.

Special mention to Sloot ----> she was pretty awesome, no clue how she managed to have fun in that environment given her situation, and maybe she didn't...but you certainly couldn't tell. Great job.

-Nashville has changed so much over the years. At least there is like 100 bars now, seems like there are more new ones every year.

Oh, and unless I was staying Sunday night or had a flight ----> can't recommend the early Sunday trip back enough.

We had zero traffic, and was on the couch with a pizza by noon beginning my recovery. I couldn't fathom still being in that mess Sunday, then having to deal with the (apparent) traffic issues on the way back -- but maybe that's just me being old, grumpy, and unable to 'hang' for the entire weekend like the old days.

For Nashville at least, I can say pretty confidently that will be my play every year from now on.

The atmosphere on tv looked electric for yesterday's game. Kudos to those who stayed around to witness that.

This team just keeps coming at you with jab punches and eventually you fold with fatigue and frustration.

gordamnit River City, get your fracking river back where it belongs and off the ishing River road and 1000 downtown parking slots by Thurs morning. awful for us who have to come down here to work, cant imagine them not having this ish show not cleaned up for 2 days of tourney games Thurs/Sat.

wanted to get outraged about our bracket, couldnt do it. read too many reactions on Twitter of "OH GREAT THEY GAVE KENTUCKY A 2 THEY ALREADY MURKED BY 38 POINTS".

Being the outright overwhelming favorite is a slightly uncomfortable situation. Just been watching sports too much where the huge goliath colossal favorite gets upset by the spunky underdogs. UNLV. Pats undefeated team. But, I like my team (tm cal), we are the best team, we have the best players. A Harrison and WCS have been waiting 12 months for these games, now they are here I expect those 3 expecially to be without mercy.

I didnt arrive until Friday afternoon, so I couldnt justify leaving early on Sunday. Although I was heading the opposite way of major traffic- just getting out of Nashville an hour after the game ended was awful.

Every single place was busting at the seems. We actually ended up at a spot closer to Vandy on Saturday night after trying Tootsies and a couple others but not even being able to physically move. The amount of fans there with absolutely no intention on going to the games, seems to have increased 10-fold from a few years ago.

at bbdk on Friday night. He clearly had enjoyed the day when I saw him.

Shout out to Uber credit.

First time doing Nashville for SECT, going back 8 of the next 10 years. Good time. Like everyone else has said, every place was packed wall to wall all weekend. We wound up taking a "break" after the game, before dinner and heading back out, and you could definitely tell the groups that were out the whole time because large chunks of the crowd, wherever you were, all hit a wall around 10-11 o'clock. Just a mess of blue clad zombies all trying to close out tabs.

Traffic on Sunday was pretty awful. Didn't get back home until 9:00 last night and we left the arena right before the trophy celebraish.

Would love to hear an estimate on how many fans made the trip. We walked down Broadway after the game yesterday and every place we walked past was packed full of UK fans, three levels of mist hanging out the decks at Honky Tonk Central, C-A-T-S cheers out the smoking part of Rippy's, the works, really.

RE: 34-0- so I figure this season only ends now 1 of 2 ways: total and complete euphoria at 40-0 and complete devastation. Bring it.

Make this happen.

- Would like to thank the committee for seeing the merit in my recommendations and actually applying some common sense to this year's seeding/location.

- First time actually staying in downtown Nashville for the SEC. Certainly nice to be able to walk 2-3 blocks to the arena, Broadway, etc.

- Left shortly after the end of the game, avoided the accident on I24 and got ahead of most of the traffic, back in Lexington just after 7.

- If anyone knows any ISU fans that need session 1 tickets, I have a couple of lowers I'm trying to unload.
