Dabo Swinney has it right, it all about guts. All of these guys know how to play and are elite athletes. Most of the coaches in football know enough about football to win, but do they have the players with the guts?
Ever seen North Dakota State play? Wanna talk about guts? Those guys could literally upset any team in the nation on any given day because they simply don't give a F&*^ who you are, they are gonna play with everything they have.
That's what I want to see. I want to see Boom Williams stick a Linebacker on a blitz so hard he doesn't want to blitz anymore. I want to see Baker catch the ball, and run some fools over all the way to the paint. I want to see our pulling lineman come around the edge and just flatten dudes. Be a beast. Be a dick. I don't care if they are your cousin, hit em in the mouth.
That's the next step this team needs to take, especially losing some depth on the D-line. Time for someone to step up and go all Steve Lattimer in The Program (minus the juice of course). For once, in my life, I want to see the guys in the blue helmets be the meanest dudes on the gridiron. If you are going to play UK, you better bring some ice and ibuprofen. Cause its gonna be a long day.
