Ill try. The story is he told about 10 players that there scholarships would no longer be honored and hes said some other things to players. Apparently he has alienated some of the alumni and boosters. Then it came out today that he was relieved of his coaching job. @Derek Terry do you have anything else to add?

Nothing to add to what happened at Alabama. You did a good job summing it up, plus the article linked by CB3 elaborates more.

Regarding Goff, I don't know if he was officially offered the job or not last summer. He was definitely a major candidate and was someone I was told to watch for by a very reputable source the day Gary Henderson resigned. Obviously turned out much better for UK that it went with Mingione.

Actually thought Goff would have been a nice hire here. Obviously he has some demons that never showed up until now.

Have to be thrilled we didn't hire this idiot. Certainly would not create the environment Coach Mingione has developed.
