Great Interview with De'Aaron Fox by Chris Haynes of ESPN

It makes you proud of UK basketball the way he talks about the fraternity of former Cats in the NBA treating current players like little brothers.

Simply amazing the family aspect Cal instills in all UK players. It is a joy to watch the players talk about the good things Cal does. Sobering if you ponder it. These kids are multi-millionaires but you can't tell it when reading about them.

Fox is a great interview. Almost impossible for the interviewer to eff it up. Listen to UK players speak. It's very clear that they are prepared for the next level for all aspects of becoming a pro and it's not just stuff that happens for 48 minutes a game.

Fox gave us a game for the ages and I desperately wanted more time to gloat about it. Watching him shred UCLA was too good for words. His character is inspiring.

Fox and Monk both have games that will thrive in the open space of the NBA. Can't wait to see them both grow into their new lives.

Every coach, regardless of the sport, would wish his players would make this comment which Fox made about Cal in this interview:

DF: "Just being able to play with great players. I've actually watched him get the best out of players and I knew going in that one, it was going to be tough and two, he was going to get everything out of me and that's what he did. I knew going there that I wasn't going to regret anything. Even if I had to stay another year, I knew he wanted to help me and he genuinely wanted what's best for his players."
