Great comparison of what a class act Mark Stoops is

Les Miles is a POS. Of course he grew up in Ohio and went to Michigan. And now coaches in Louisiana.

The truth is the high road is the only road for a coach to take in a situation like the Damion Harris situation. I am how ever not bound by that rule. Harris was a dirt bag the way he strung UK along when he had little intention of signing with UK.

I never had much hope that he was going to sign with UK because IMO if he was intending to stay home and play for the home state University he would have committed fairly early and helped attract other recruits. He did however play a sneaky game by keeping the hook baited just enough to hook some fish into thinking he would go to UK.

I think it would be poetic justice if UK could somehow beat Alabama while he is there. I know it isn't likely but sometimes tears in the space time continuum do happen.

I think you have to put that into context. The video appears to be at a fundraiser type of event or maybe a benefit for some big time LSU alum, and Les Miles was catering to the atmosphere. I love our coach and I think he is cut from some fiber that most coaches aren't and that is why he spoke glowingly of Damien Harris. But again, its about context, 2 years from now if there is another outstanding player from this state he will read what Stoops has said and knows he generally cares about kids. Mark Stoops said what he said as a way to recruit. If Les Miles would have known he would be speaking in front of that camera, maybe he wouldn't have said that.

Regardless, I don't think he should have said it, but I can understand why he said it. And beyond that, Miles takes care of his players and his players love him. I can admire someone who is that well-regarded...even when they say stupid things.

CMS is a realist and that was a great response by him yesterday. He invested a lot of time and resources into recruiting DH. Sure I bet it stung quite a bit when he didn't pick us, but I don't think he took it nearly as personal as most on this board did. That is the nature of the beast when recruiting highly touted prospects.

He has to stay on good terms with these high school coaches, you can't do it by looking like a sore loser. However I'm sure Coach Stoops would like this to be the last time in his life he has to answer a question about Damian Harris.

He can think whatever he wants, and it might not sound as nice as the words coming out of his mouth, but at the end of the day, it is his job to take care of the program and university. He is a professional. The end result of the last month's ish storm ought to make that clear to all. If you aren't "With Him" I'm not sure there is much help for you.

I like Les Miles, but I wonder if he feels the same way about the players he signed that aren't from Louisiana? Like Jamal Adams, for instance.

our coach is a layman he works hard to get a end result I pray this year will be his oasis our coach is relentless to making Kentucky relevant

Considering the elite schools many on our staff have coached and recruited at I am sure they realize that your not gona get them all. Probably experienced Florida kids he recruited for Florida State over a long period of time and they ended up going to Florida, Miami or some other SEC school. Coach is a professional and will all ways be a class act.

LOL! This is an unknown person with a username, calling a teenage football player a dirtbag on the internet, because the player decided to go to college where you didn't want him to go. That sure makes a lot of sense!
