going inside and getting points and rebounds key to the victory. Guards took over the 2nd half, and FT shooting was outstanding. 14-4 is sure better than 13-5.

It looks like we have two new outstanding players Willis & Skal that Lee and Poythress better watch out or they are not going to get much playing time.

Effort takes this team up several notches. Glad to see when their backs were up against the wall they were able to come out and perform.

Huge win tonight. We took care of the ball, played great perimeter defense and hit foul shots. Skal stepped up tonight which is a great sign. Hopefully he can build on this.

So proud of the effort! Skal improving, Willis proving he deserves to start, Ulis his usual steady self, and Murray heating up in the 2nd (still too much me ball)! Lee and Poy still maddening, but it's a win, so let's concentrate on the positives....GBB!

Much needed bounce back victory. On the road, after just an awful effort on Saturday, Lot of guys stepped up and UK really keep the pressure on when Arky tried to make any kind of comeback. Sad thing is the griping after that win. Murray isn't a team player, Arkansas is awful, blah blah blah. Enjoy the moment and the win.

Great win. Best game of the season, thus far.

This team is trending up, but I expect us to continue to have our ups and downs.

Got to keep the general upward climb, we will have hiccups, but we must continue to make strides.

This team is looking more and more like a typical Cal team, very young, but getting better as the season progresses. Hope the trend continues.

Extremely good effort tonight by everybody. Lee and Alex just have to find a way to stay out of foul trouble. I hope this is a breakout for Skal and he builds on it the rest if the season. It has to help his confidence.

Best we have seen Skal since first 6 or 7 games of the first of the year. Willis keeps getting Better which will help to have Skal, Lee, Poy, and Willis all playing good underneath the basket. Ulis & Murray had decent games and we hit our FT's and only had 5 Turnovers and we outrebounded them 36-28. Arkansas has been playing really good basketball vs. good teams and blowing some out. Our "D" held them to 38% shooting and 16% from 3. This is where Cal is best in Coaching when our backs against the wall. Now we need to start a winning streak in the SEC with another tough one Saturday vs. Vandy at Home then Mizz at home, and then the BIG ONE at Kansas and we need to just continue to play hard, smart, good basketball and we will continue to Win!

Great win !
Cal coached one heck of a game.
Skal played much better.
Willis played another great game.
Tyler played a great game.
Ref's called a poor game.

Willis is the ' Stretch 4 ' to a tee, Skal faced up and drained jumpers, also got jiggy inside a time or two. Ulis is the General, and Murray played more under control the 2nd half, and scored the ball. Alex got us jump started, then got in foul trouble, Marcus is puzzling, Briscoe played good D, and scored a little.
All in all a solid victory that was needed after Saturday !

A very good road win in a hostile environment. KY never let the crowd get into it and led wire to wire by pretty much double digits. Glad to see Skal score the ball and have some success.

Cal: "Anytime you can win on the road, it's a big game."

Arkansas is always a tough place to play. With that in mind, I think this was the most complete performance of the year.

This is a different team with Willis on the floor. I know that's hard for the haters to take, but it's true. It creates much better spacing on the floor, opens up driving lanes for the guards, and even though they weren't hitting early, they were drawing a help-side defender, which allowed our bigs to get putbacks.

Willis stat line..... 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, take that 6 days a week and twice on Sunday !

Didn't see this one coming, thought Skal would have a chance to put some numbers up in this one and he did,one of our better games of the year.

Now stay focused and get the next one and we've got something going.

What's even more amazing was Skal did this on the road, in a very tough environment. Very nice improvement over the last 3 games.

Still a ways to go, but this very well could have just been a few adjustments for him after being off the court for so long.

Announced said it best.. If we can get 10 points from Skal the rest of the way, the entire team changes.

Great win, they played smart and focused and that was the quietest I have ever heard Bud Walton arena. That's a tough place to play and they won big there, just shows you when they are ready to play and play well they can beat anybody.

Decent win, but Saturday is important. If we lose, this win is forgotten. We need to carry this over against Vandy. Lee and poythress will need to rebound from sub par games and skal has to continue to contribute on both ends.
