Wish you all the luck. It was the best decision for your career. It's the Kentucky Basketball of Football. Go Get Em!

How the hell was that the best decision for his career? You can get drafted from any school.

I was thinking the exact same thing actually. He looked happy but hurt because of his Mom.

Don't wish any ill will but "don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you." He's dead to me.

Really dude!!!!...What kind of damn KENTUCKY FAN ARE YOU...let me guess ...it is all about basketball with you

He's REALLY close to his mother. The empty nest syndrome is going to be hard. But I think she knows its the best decision. I wouldn't complain if he had a change of heart though lol!

I don't wish bad on the kid, but candidly he said "roll tide" so I could also care less if he flops.

All the people ITT who are saying he made the best decision kindly go root for Alabama.

Yeah, I am a Kentucky fan....not a fan of all high school prospects that come out of the state. Don't care how he does and don't care how Bama does.

I'll save wishing my luck for the Cats.

No matter how you slice it, he's on the other side of the ball when we play Bama.

I don't wish him harm, but I don't wish him luck. Just another dude on a different team now.

Whats the record for number of twitter followers lost in an hour. The one who forevermore shall never be named in this house!

don't be daft. We all know Bama has the offensive line to make stud backs look amazing, even when they aren't so great (Trent Richardson for example... looked like a world beater in college, below mediocre in the pros). He went to the place that gives him the clearest path to a high draft pick. Sure you can get drafted anywhere, but Bama backs have been given a boost. That's like saying a basketball player doesn't need to go to UK because he'll get drafted anyway.

Would have been the equivalent of John Wall saying he's going to take his talents to Southern Methodist University.

We do play at Bama in 2016, but I doubt Harris is on the field much.

Its the UK Basketball "Effect" with Alabama Football....The program hype and exposure increases draft stock exponentially in most cases.....Damian made a smart business decision, there is only so much tread on a RB's tires, folks, Whose Line You Wanna Run Behind for the next 3 years....Good Luck Kid!

All of you GOOD LUCK DAMIEN need to rethink.

He KNEW he wasn't going to UK. Knew it. What he did was drag kentucky on for months while he could have just said it wasnt going to happen and had allowed UK to move on. He doesn't give a chit and that's obvious. Using UK as a "once in a lifetime to string along" recruiting punch line doesn't sit well with me. Thats his life, and I get sick of hearing how these recruits do what's "best for them" when more than half DONT even know what that is.

Well, as far as my life, I'll reserve good thinking and good wishes for UK and our players. Asshole move to string us along that far for his own amusement. These young athletes learn how to be narasasistic AHoles early. And we STILL have people codling them. It's sick.

He made his bed. He jumps to the top of my list and many other uk fans list of most hated opposing players. To do all the shit he did this year going to the games and such and then pick UA makes him hated. I don't wish injury on him at all. But I do hope he finds himself buried behind 3-5 other running backs.

Alabama kept homestate kid Trevor Lacy in 2011 away from the machine and Cal. Hopefully Damien can find himself a nice home for him and his mother in Birmigham or Montgomery after his playing days are over. The state of Alabama can take care of him.

2 potentially program changing backs....20 years apart....both picked bama. This one hurts more than the Alexander though....

Conjecture. You have no idea what is in his head, and it is irresponsible to blame him for things you make up. You're taking out aggression on the wrong source. What you say may be true, or he may have made the decision last night. Unless he straight out says it, that's the wrong way to treat anyone.

Might as well say "you should remove your Brandon Knight picture because I am damn sure he imagines drowning babies on a daily basis." I have no way to know that and you have no way to know this. Stick to facts, not conjecture.

EDIT: seems he said he made the decision on his visit. Fair enough. I'll leave the rant just for giggles.

Have to agree with this also. In addition, to those that think it's not over because his mom's not happy, why would you chant him here just because his mom wants him to be closer?

Forget about him and let's move on. We want players that want to be here.

I watched it on the stream and I thought it was just tears of joy he was going to college. Its a big day for any young man. I'm sure she'll be sad to see him leave the state as well. Who knows. At any rate good luck to him and his family.
