Good Grief!

How is Nubs still upset about being overhyped and overrated? This is like 18 out of 20 years they aren't near as good as they thought they would be.

Nebraska may be enduring their version of the Joker Phillips eta
Nope, their issues and pain are more than Frost & last 4 yrs

Riley was a strange hire & results weren't much better than 7 wins/yr

Bo won, but not better than 9-3 or beat top 20 opponents

Callahan a complete cultural shift taking out option ball for west coast pro

Solich a solid even winner maintaining past systems but not achieving top 10 results

Like Tennessee, they were a national champ level school in the 90's who have spent 20+ yrs trying to find their way back to the top

So you are saying Frost needs one more year?

Everyone wants a good OOC P5 opponent, Maybe Stoops can get them on the schedule with the stipulation that it’s a breach of contract if Frost isn’t the Nebraska coach

I know Nebraska fans pine for the glory days, but I think even they could tolerate a loss if it didn’t appear that it was the direct result of bonehead coaching decisions.

I’m not saying they’d like it (who does like their team losing?), but I don’t think you’d see the outrage.

Nebraska was the better team but Nortwestern was way better coached. Scott Frost was the difference in this game. That onside kick was beyond stupid.

That's the part that's overlooked imo. Fitzgerald just does an excellent job, year in and year out.

I still remember him there as a player when it was basically their only successful seasons ever. That is, until he returned to be their coach.

Have never looked at it, but my guess is he's been part of an usually large percentage of that's school's total football wins.

Husker are just a pale shadow of the program I got behind in the NC race every year as a kid.
