“Again, the guy that changed the game was Dom,” Cal said. “Dom did what he did at the Michigan game a couple years ago. He went in and guarded that player and said, I can do it. And then he made some free throws.”
Hawkins is the new Ramon Harris. Like harris a few years back everyone keeps saying how amazing his D is... But just seems like a weak link offense to me.
IMO Dom has been set back by the time he missed due to injury. When he starts making that little runner in the lane like we know he can he will be quite valuable in his role. He can get into the lane at will, just needs to begin finishing. Hopefully his 3-ball will come back soon as well. Of course he's not a 5-star recruit headed for NBA lottery so that disqualifies his contributions in the minds of a certain set of folks on this board.
You know, you're right! If Cal comes to his senses he'll give Jonny David Briscoe's starting spot. Kid's shooting 100 percent from the line for his career.
i dont see how you can say someone played "very well" when they shoot 1-5 from the floor. yeah he shot 70% from the line, congrats...build a statue. on offense with him out there...there is no hope for success. i know the bar is lower for the in state kids
the game changed when murray started playing PG, got into the lane, got the FT line, made a few shots.
Let me tell you this..if your only argument is shooting..which it seems to be..i eill take Hawk 100 times out of 100 over Briscoe. You wanna talk about a broken shot...its Briscoe
