We actually won by 4 more points. One missed basket interference on ole miss and one bad basket interference against KAT for once

The call against Towns was the correct one. They missed the basket interference, though.

I can think of two other blocks that Towns had this year that weren't called but were obviously on the way down. He needs to get after these just a smidge earlier. But it's great to have multiple rim protectors....that's for sure.

It's funny how they could get that one "right", but didn't see the basket interference. The one they called on Towns was questionable, but the basket interference was not.

I agree. That ball had definitely started going down when Big KAT swatted it..

The missed basket interference was a horrible non-call though.

I love Towns' aggressiveness but he's had a handful of goaltends this season that were pretty blatantly on their way down. I know I'm just an armchair fan that has the benefit of watching from afar instead of in the moment but it's just an observation.

The offensive goal tending was ridiculous.

I don't know how three refs can miss that, but we had the three blind mice out there.

KAT's was not a goaltend.

He has got to use better judgement on help defense though. He has been over-aggressive most of the year, getting goaltends and allowing offensive rebounds. Last night though, he seemed to be a step late all night.

One other thing, on that block in question, he again swats it as far as he can rather than controlling the ball. A few minutes later Dakari block one purposefully right to one of the guards. Textbook. Sending one out emphatically is ok early in games to send a message but he really needs to play smarter in most cases on those.

Towns is stepping into Daniel Orton territory in regards to goaltending. Big Orton was a lock for one a game if he got the minutes.
