I'm sure it will be a fun popcorn movie. Denzel is in it after all. But God damn, Hollywood has no shame anymore

This. Gladiator is a top 5 (probably 2 or 3) movie all-time for me. Don't need to try and top it because the chances of doing so are so slim and anything less seems like a failure/money grab. Do like Denzel being in it, though.

Gladiator was awesome until the fight with the dude wearing the gold mask was over. Went downhill after that big time.

The one thing I don't like is Denzel in it. I love Denzel but he's out of place. Why not bring back djimon hounsou's character?

Agree. Hes one of my favs but the trailer shows hes playing a weirdly over the top almost cheery version of lonzo. It seemed way off imo
