Just got home tonight, flipped this game on. Thought it was first half, 33-31 with under 11 to play. Yikes!

Florida is another team that looks like they are going the opposite way even though they pulled out the Win tonight in UGA. Florida's offense is awful right now and UGA had no business losing that game tonight. IT just seems that in the last week or so the teams that were looking extremely good in the SEC has taken a turn for the worse. South Carolina, TA&M, and UF have all seemed to go the other way after starting the OOC and first half of the SEC looking like the teams to beat in the SEC with UK. It seems like a pattern in the SEC and thats after these teams UF, South Carolina, Vandy, etc. play Kentucky they seem to have been shaken a bit and are heading in the losing direction. Right now it seems that Kentucky and LSU are playing the best in the SEC.

Good lord I am so sick of the choke jobs by UGA. Florida looked like complete garbage last night and we still can't beat them. Fox stepped in his own $h%t once again.

Uf has a good amount of pro talent ( 2 1st round locks and 2 others who will be drafted ) but they have trouble scoring . They will make the dance as a 8-12 seed but I expect them to flame out after one game . I do like their coach but he is no Billy D who was a top 10 coach in the game. I think our game in Gville ( I will be there) though could be a war as the UF fans hate us just about as much as I hate them....

I feel for you UGA fans. Before they sent Richt (sp?) down the road you guys had two really bad coaches. Georgia should be better but coaches like Fox just don't have it. There is too much talent in and around the state of Georgia to suck this bad year after year.

The truth right there. Like the slave who has the keys to his chains in his back pocket and doesn't even know it. Maddening.

Can you imagine trying to stake your job on the emotional and mental state of late teens and early twenties basketball players? I think that's part of the issue here. College basketball is about momentum and confidence. If a team is feeling good about itself, that's half the battle. But let them have an off game or two and now they couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

In regard to Florida, I think their change of style was effective early in league games because it was a change from the norm. They also benefited from lower expectations. Teams didn't get up for them as much. Donovan's gone, so they're thinking the Gators aren't a threat. But then they were winning and they got the attention of the conference. And then the coaches figured out how to beat the system. Next thing you know, it's one loss, then two, then three, and the confidence goes down. And now the Gators aren't playing as well as they were.

And this is why a coach like Calipari is so valuable. In my opinion, he's the best motivator in the game. He finds ways to get the most out of his players, year in and year out. His teams rarely lose 2 in a row, and almost never lose 3 in a row. We just haven't had losing "streaks" under Calipari. We've had a bunch of winning streaks, though.

I'll tell you who is earning his money, the strength and conditioning coach at UF. It seems UF's players are training for the show. Patric Young looked like an adonis his senior year and some of the guys on this current roster look like they could bend a #11 rebar into a sharp V.
