Piss poor 1st half to a very sold 2nd half. Maybe he takes Williams starting spot.
He HAS to get more of Williams time. I’m extremely disappointed with how Williams is turning out. He cost us a few possessions tonight out of shear laziness. Garrison brings an energy to the team that Williams just doesn’t bring.
Really like Garrison.

Amaris effort was much better the 2nd half. He hit two HUGE FTs to keep our momentum going. But I do like Brandon over him.

We absolutely need him back next year. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up the best player out of this group when all is said and done.
He does much more for us than Amari right now. Amari looks a bit lazy out there. He can't finish well around the basket, struggles with handling the ball, and does a poor job on defending the screens. Definitely not the player I thought we were getting. I hope he improves a lot.
Made his first 3-point shot of the season too. The game really changed in the 2nd half with the 1-3-1 defense and Garrison playing physical during that time. Pope trusts Garrison to give him more now and has shown when he has been getting some of Williams' minutes. Amari turned it around down the stretch. During the last 10 minutes plus OT gave them some rim protection, had a couple of blocks and knocked down those clutch free throws cutting the lead to 2 with under 3 mins to go. Finished with 12 points.
Getting him back next year and maybe add 10-15 lbs on him this off season, seems to get pushed a little by some beef guys but can see he’s getting better and better each game. Very high ceiling for him and he’s so athletic at his height, will be a huge piece this season and for sure next.
What exactly was that technical for early in the game? He get a tough rebound, put back and seemed to be walking away and got T'd.
He got in the face (and I'm sure talking trash) of the opposing player while he headed towards the free throw line.
I thought that "T" he got was just BS. I have seen a lot worse and not get called.
