We have nothing to lose but everything to gain from his commitment. If he chooses us that's treat if he decides somewhere else that's ok too. Just be prepared to lose when/ if they play us.

The Sterling Gibbs fiasco aside, it seems pretty rare for a kid to decommit just to recommit to the same school. I still think Cal will end up with him if they find a scholarship but I think we have a fighting chance. MSU I find highly unlikely but in a year like this it would have hardly been the strangest thing to happen.
