Source close to Caleb Swanigan's guardian continued: Swanigan waiting on spot at Cal to open up.

(Same) source tells me main draw of Cal for Swanigan is he wants to play with Ivan Rabb and Jaylen Brown, as the 3 had previously discussed.

Sounds about right.

Good for Cuonzo. I wish him well. One can only wonder if he would have had the same class at Tennessee

I think the Purdue stuff is classic misdirection. I believe the woman who tweeted about Swanigan being on the phone with Cal coaches the day after he decommitted. I think everyone is just laying low until a scholarship "becomes available".

All pretty unseemly if you ask me, it's obvious a lot of people have been in Swanigan's ear since the Brown commitment - and especially considering Calipari has been given absolute Hell over the fact that Terrance Jones impulsively committed to UW in a public press conference, after having told Cal he was coming to UK, and then having immediate second thoughts, as is typical of 18 yr olds.

The one thing I like about the 2015 class, although it's typical of the weirdness of this bunch, is how low key most of the commitments gave been. No hat ceremonies, no school letters etched into your hairdo. So many of them have just tweeted it out after delaying for months. Just bizarre - but it seems to make it easier for them to change their minds without a lot of repercussions if they made an impulsive choice.

That would give Cal one of the best frontcourts in the nation.

And they return some decent guards.

They should be a pretty good team.

They might make some noise in the tourney this year.

I thought that is where he was going? Brown said in an interview a month and a half ago that the 3 of them were all going to Cal. You could tell in that interview that Cal was 1, Mich 2 and those were the only choices. UK, KU, Georgia, Georgia tech were all just clutter.

I hear they are still looking at a 7ft raw project, an inner city kid whose mom is very needy, and a white kid whose daddy wants a new tractor. Let's just wait and see how it plays out.

Yeah LOL

Coach Martin must have promised him the "personal chef" that Coach Izzo refused to provide him.:D

Makes Pac12 a bit more difficult. Won't be quite as easy for UCLA and Zona next year.. Which I'm fine with.

All that talent and they will only be seen on ESPN2 at 10:30ET on Thursdays with Bill Walton doing color commentary.

think Rabb could be pretty good in the end. But the 6'8 below the rim guys like Swainiagn dont impress me as much. Jared Sullinger was actually pretty damn good in college Id be shocked if Swainigan was half as good.
