Not suggesting Cal used the wrong strategy on the Skal FTs at the end but from my pov at the game and then watching the tape afterward, it seems likely UK might have gotten the rebound on the Skal miss. It was a long rebound to the right and away from the baseline. Had there been a UK player along the lane the A&M player would have had to box him out and the rebound would have gone over his head, maybe to UK. Oh well ..

Shoulda coulda woulda. But if we're playing that game then no way in hell I'd have Skal shoot the FT's in the first place....

According to what they said on TV, the replacement for Hump had to shoot the FTs. Who on the bench could he have put in to shoot them?

I actually was defending the choice up until right now when I remembered we had Mulder on our bench. No way that kid doesn't knock both of those down, unless the pressure is too much for him but the kid has played college ball for a few years I'm sure he could have handled it.

Kyle Macy has the best FT strategy; you just touch your socks and fire away :D

The problem I would have had with mulder is he sit on the bench the whole game. He wouldn't have gotten a warm up or anything like that.

I was thinking at the time Hawkins would have made both and he had played some good minutes in the game

Didn't we have a player around late 90s/early 00s or so that did that weird side twist thing?
