First and foremost, a sincere congrats on the trip to Omaha. You guys have had a hell of year.

From some experience (having traveled up there for all of our appearances, and a couple before that), if there is any way possible you can make it up to Omaha, GO.

The atmosphere is incredible, and not like anything you've experienced in post season travel. Yes, that includes hoops and bowl games. The city embraces the event like none other, and you guys will get a lot of support from the locals as they tend to embrace the newer teams. Also, don't be surprised to see LSU and Mississippi State fans there, as some of them go up there to party even when they aren't in it.

Omaha is a very underrated city, and there is plenty to do (which is great when you get days off between the first few games). There's plenty of stuff around the stadium, but also check out the Old Market and also the Doorly Zoo (where you can pay homage to the old Rosenblatt Stadium). There are also casinos right across the river in Council Bluffs.

Also, the food scene is great, and it's not just steaks. Personal fave is The Blackstone Meatball, or Vincenzo's in Lincoln, which is about 45 minutes down I-80. It's also kind of neat to check out the University of Nebraska campus, plus Lincoln also has The Haymarket, which is a smaller version of the Old Market.

Additionally, the participating teams usually practice at local high schools, so that's something to check out as well.

Anyway, it's a bit of a hike, but definitely worth the trip if you can make it.

always appreciate genuine post from rival fans that aren’t bait.

I’m hoping to make it up from Florida but it may be a stretch

Hard to believe the teams would have reversed roles when looking back 5 years ago.
Not trying to offensive, but I've believed for years that LV's athletics is a mirage that ultimately would come tumbling down.
