Hell of a showing on the road for the "depleted" (hey, ESPN used that for Duke, right?) Wildcats. Wanted to check some stats and discovered that today was the 11th straight game that UK's opponents have shot more FTs than the Cats. During that 11-game stretch, the Cats are 7-4, which is pretty amazing when you consider the free throw discrepancy:
Opponents: 228-319
UK: 147-210
That's a +81 from the free throw line for those scoring at home. GBB!

it's an absurd statistic

btw, that overtime game we just played where two of our guys fouled out, no one on A&M had more than 3

It's because UK's bigs, namely Lee and Skal, don't know how to defend without fouling.

No it doesn't, but on the flip side we do have some guards that go aggressively to the hole. It would be interesting to see if Duke or Kansas has ever had an 11 game stretch that the opponent shot more free throws.
