Free Article on Best 2016 PGs (Includes Murray, Simmons)

It's just a statement on how good next years class is. They have Murray as 12th in the country in next years class but yet says he was the most intriguing guard prospect on the floor with all the top '15 guys.

Thanks for the article.

I hope we end up with Murray for this season and then Simmons for 2016.

I think Simmons would be the perfect fit with Ulis next season.

Realistically, I could see us signing this class:

G Simmons- great combo.
G Langford- excellent swingman.
F Isaac- great combo forward, blowing up lately.
F Wynyard- already committed, might enroll in December.
C Banks- Atlanta kid that is rising through the ranks.

So this is the lineup I would like to see in 2016-17:

G Ulis(5'9)/Hawkins(6'0)
G Simmons(6'5)/Mulder(6'5)/Floreal(6'4)
G Langford(6'6)/Matthews(6'6)
F Isaac(6'9)/Wynyard(6'10)/Willis(6'9)
F Lee(6'9)/Banks(6'10)

Bleedingblue kind of confusing agree ? The analyst don't want to luck bad so they wont make a decision on Murray or where he should be ranked. Murray would be better off going to college this fall. Competition will be better than returning to High School. He's now been to Oregon. Let's see if he does set his announcement for the month of June!

Oh I agree that he should do everything possible to be in this years class. If he makes the jump he could be the best guard in the class and one of the best guards in the country. Come draft time that equates you becoming a much higher pick.
If he stays in school and goes to say Oregon for example he could have 3-4 or more guards in front of him in talent level to be drafted. That could knock him down from top 10 to around 20 or so all depending on workouts and what that particular nba team is needing of course.
This years class is relatively weak with just a handful of really good players. Why wouldn't ya try to include yourself in that group to get more money in the draft.
I don't know what the average money is on a 10th pick to say 20th but you would think it would be a couple million over the course of 3-4 years if they pick up the option on the fourth.

I thought Murray has already decided to reclassify if he can finish his coursework, which should be a formality, right?

Good breakdown of the points for next year. Barring something unforeseen Simmons is ours to lose. I hope NC State can pry smith from Duke :grimace:
