Fox moves Kentucky up to #11 after big win

1. Kentucky shows again why it has Final Four upside

On back-to-back Saturdays, the Wildcats have displayed why they're so dangerous. After a win at Auburn last weekend, Kentucky bounced back from a heartbreaking loss at LSU with a monster performance.

Final score: Kentucky 117, Alabama 95

John Calipari has said it was just a matter of time before Justin Edwardswent off. He delivered on those words in the win, shooting a perfect 10-for-10 from the floor and posting a career-high 28 points, one of five in double-figures. It marked the highest point total Kentucky has had against a ranked team in program history. This team's explosiveness is second to none.

Coaching has been atrocious and so many seem to be forgetting that. We could and should win all the remaining games except we could have a close contest against Tenn. But, should and could also would never even be a concern if there had been decent coaching decisions against Florida, LSU, and a few other games.

I see other posts counting Arkansas and Vandy as guaranteed wins. Again they "should" be as well as Miss State. But, expect all these teams to slow it down, play physical, and continue the drives to the basket that we haven't yet shown we can defend. Close games are often Cal's downfall.

I had posted several times how this board and fans are after a win back on board and after a loss; fire Cal. It's short term memory. I think a road game against Miss State is ideal for our team and us fans to really see if the Bama performance was the light bulb coming on. We shall soon see.

MSU won't be easy after they demolished LSU in their gym. Both teams are riding high with blowout wins. They should win Tuesday and win the rest up to Tennessee. The most important thing is consistency because after big wins against ranked teams we have lost the next game against unranked teams.

I hope they can go into Tennessee and roast them in their gym to end the regular season.

lol. Some of you still believe the best team always wins. 🤣. That’s not how sports works. The best team wins the NCAA-T at best 30% of the time, probably less.

I would agree we should beat Vandy and Ark. But after that, no. There is a difference between being favored and should win.

Keep defending 4 home losses 👍

That tip shot doesn't fall and UK is probably top8, and seen as one of the hottest teams at the moment.
