Fk this really sucks

He wasn't physically ready for big time football. Unless he gets more discipline in that area, he never will be ready. Wish him the best

This is an example of people telling a kid that he is better than he is. Too many outside influences it seems. I’m sure he will be playing at the pizza pit here soon

Ya he will not be a difference maker next year for any p5 program. That's just a fact.

The bigger concern is whether this has anything to do with aspirations gym which could impact future recruiting in the city.

Too many Aspirations guys have brought a lot of drama over the years. Would almost like to see Vince start spending more time elsewhere.

Stoops done all be could do for this kid. I mean we didn’t RS him to pacify him, which was ridiculous in hindsight

Think about it. He will be a true Sophomore next year, and one would be safe to assume that he sits behind Cox. Now, I guess we could move him to RT, but we offered the Kent State kid… so I doubt he was in the plans there. So he and his people saw this too and decided that sitting the bench some where is a better option. It might be, but it’s a lateral move imo.

He is not starting at any P5 next year at LT, if he is than they are in trouble.
Exactly! He needs to lose 50 pounds at least. A LT has to be quick and light on their feet. I don’t see him being either. He obviously doesn’t want to work and wait his turn. We are going to see more and more transfers after one year. The sport is broken. It’s a damn circus.

The reality is he was unable to beat out the guys we already had, and they weren't very good sooooo...
Best of luck to him

I’m not a hater and wish the kid well. But I remember seeing him at the Army AA game I think, and he was getting torched. Nik Hall outperformed him by alot.

that said the OLine needs more than Cox. Need 1,2 and 3 year solutions fast. A few light classes and a few misses is all it takes.

My frustration is with the wasted effort to get him and his lack of development while here. He clearly had the tools and potential or we wouldn't have worked so hard to get him. I don't like the wasted energy, time, and money.

I didn't expect him to play right away. I did expect him to get some backup reps in the offense, but was very disappointed that valuable teaching tool was wasted. If he was overmatched, he's motivated and understands what he needs to do here. Instead, he gets his motivation elsewhere. Again, just wasting opportunities and investments.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.seems as though he doesn't have the want to but thinks he should play because he was a five star.

BS. Put him in vs an SEC PASS D. Let him see how bad he needs time and work. USC, UGA...

Exactly. Big mistake not to show him where he really stood.
Calm down …. As bad as the OL played he had to have some serious issues to not see time. Anyone that knows blocking and saw his “highlights from camps” knew he was a big project
Personally, only his size made him D1

5 stars on size and potential.., its like the NBA draft
Tall, big certain genetics make many of these 4 and 5 star guys that “bust”
Smaller, shorter guys (of certain genetics) get overlooked consistently and constantly.

Of course has to do with Aspirations. Vaughn supposedly is his guardian. He def plays a major role with Goodwin and his decision making. Ultimately he left was he wasn't playing though

Will take the Gym in Nashville over Aspirations every day. That’s the one we need to keep in good graces IMO
I agree. It seems like Aspirations may be more trouble than it's worth. Just from a casual observer perspective. I'd much rather keep the Nashville and Cincinnati Moeller connections.

This is on Goodwin and his handlers not the UK coaches.

About as big of an impact as if Matt Elam had entered the portal.
They are the same.
Recruiting guys got suckered by his measurables and didnt take into account whether he could actually play football.

KGoodwin entered the portal
It really doesn’t. He insured he had a wasted year being undisciplined. He got blown up on multiple occasions on the FG team giving up a block

Let’s hope he figures it out and is successful

Sometimes the scouts miss badly with their ratings. Anyone remember Elam? Seems Goodwin was one of those whiffs.
