Five-star point guard will visit for Big Blue Madness

Why are so many Texas players shunning UT (Texas)?
Did Barnes leave some currently untold situation.?
Smart seemed like a good move in the right direction.
Maybe it's just taking time to adjust.......

****Even the one in Austin, Jarrett Allen, isn't necessarily sounding like a slam dunk to go there any more as he had before. Interesting.

Good question..... Texas produces a lot of Div. 1 players. They must know something about the school that has not been made public yet.

Wouldn't it be cool if all those listed attending BBM committed at the same time to Kentucky. Like right then and there.

Yeah I don't think it's anything going on with the Texas program. I just think over the past several years the mentality among recruits has shifted to where they can get to the league the fastest.

Shaka smart doesn't have a reputation for that.

This year, it would be. But then, people would start right up again with the 40-0 talk.

That's actually a national trend, not just in Texas. All across the country prospects are far less likely to attend their home state school than used to be the case years ago. Today's kids don't really buy into the concept of home state loyalty the way they did in past eras.

But, luckily, it's a trend that works out well for UK, since ky produces barely any in-state talent but tends to be at the top of the list for the out of state studs looking to go elsewhere.
