and C.J. Conrad gets honorable mention. http://www.aseaofblue.com/2015/9/30...ble-mention-john-mackey-tight-end-of-the-week
Seriously? Why not "first time the QB threw to the TE".First time he caught passes. Not first time "used as receiver."
because he was used as a receiver the first 3 games, Dawson called plays where he was on routes. Just didn't get a look except for the end zone opportunity at USCjr.Seriously? Why not "first time the QB threw to the TE".
Who cares how it's termed, the point of the OP was clear.
I can't tell if you are being serious or sarcastic.because he was used as a receiver the first 3 games, Dawson called plays where he was on routes. Just didn't get a look except for the end zone opportunity at USCjr.
Much better blocker than Tamme.IMHO
Will be much better than Tamme.

Actually from some of the exchanges in the past on this forum I find it completely believable someone would start a thread and assert that CJ Conrad did not one time in the first 3 games leave the line of scrimmage and be available to receive a pass
Man people on this board are really nitpicky. Of course he ran routes in the previous game. This was just the first time we actually threw to the middle field routes. It wasn't just Conrad either, we threw to some WRs over the middle, which we weren't doing. I put two and two together in my head after reading the headline and didn't throw a little hissy fit.
Dont you think you are being a tad bit nitpicky? We use many receivers. Not all get balls thrown their way and not all make the catch. Conrad missed his first attempt and has run routes before. Seriously. Not the first time we used him as a receiver.
Look at you and JHB4UK - the football terminology precision team, correcting folks b/c they didn't use the correct terminology. Lol.Exactly. Not asking too much to be precise.
Dont you think you are being a tad bit nitpicky?
By the way - I'm completely aware that when there are multiple WRs lined up and they all run routes and only 1 gets the ball thrown their way, then 2-3 don't. I played football, and am fully aware of how it works. And agree with you that Conrad "has been used as a WR/TE this year". (He just hasn't had any balls throw his way until last wknd, and that is what OP clearly meant).
