Hopefully stuff in the national media picks up. We lowly bennies can't make a difference on here, but some national media pressure would really help. I kinda would've thought it would've started a year or two ago, but maybe those folks like Cal more than we might think. #FreeKentucky
A year or two ago we didn't have the amount of talent that we have now. Without a doubt, we are the most talented team in college basketball. Coaches around the country can't believe how our nameless coach is squandering this quantity of talent. Unfortunately, we don't have anyone who can coach it.

You do have a point. Plus, you know they'd only cite the first half of his time a Kentucky to argue Kentucky fans are unreasonable. They wouldn't mention his priorities, underachieving, and sparky relationship with the fans.
Cal's finished if he loses in the first weekend. It might take UK another year to pony up the buyout, but the paperwork for the divorce will be drawn up at that point.

If he loses in the first weekend this season too after only having one tournament win since signing that 2019 contract and they don’t get rid of him…. I’m done watching until he’s gone and that’s something that’s really going to hurt because I LOVE my Wildcats but I really HATE John Calipari…

I’m to the point that I’m probably not staying up to watch the late Tuesday night game. It’s just not worth getting worked up and being too pissed off to fall asleep after we drop our 4th in a row at Rupp.
Me either to be honest and this will be the first game I have ever done that. If I don’t stay up and watch and I’m 44 years old Calipari has really stolen the joy out of UK basketball!!!
Cal won't lose any sleep. And he doesn't care about your joy. Or fathers watching Kentucky basketball with sons, passing down the history and traditions. The joy of a big win or the tears of a rare defeat. Cal is ruining all that, and he doesn't care a bit about it. Kentucky basketball isn't for the fans. It's for the players' NBA hopes.

The funny thing is, he isn’t even putting guys in the league like the past. Last four years, his highest draft pick was a guy who wouldn’t leave the bench. Outside of that, only one lotto pick. He can’t even hang his hat on draft picks anymore.
I had to quit watching in 2020-2021. I would just go to bed early, get up and workout while listening to the KSR postgame show rant. It was much better than being up seething mad until 1AM for nothing.

They have a conundrum though. Most of them can’t stand Calipari. It’s not like tubby where everyone liked him . Right now they are LOVING that we are struggling while at the same time Calipari is getting heat .
