Fighting Will Wade’s vs. Bama

Alabama with 2 straight single digit wins against cupcakes.

Next 4 games to end month are against top 25 or power 4 type teams.

Bama clearly hasn’t quite hit their stride yet. My observations are that although depth can be an asset, they have so many guys getting playing time right now that they haven’t really gelled into a solid rotation with defined roles yet. The other early impression is that their outside shooting may not actually be that consistent outside of Sears and Wrightsell. Getting Youngblood back for conference play should help with that given his career percentages, but that’s something to keep an eye on given how they’d like to play.

It’s always a question whether the “real” team is the one that made a four or five game tourney run or the team you saw in the other 30+ games.

Arky St and McNeese aren't exactly "cupcakes". Both are the preseason favorite in their conferences (voted on by the coaches in their conference). McNeese won 30 games last year. Arky St is coached by a longtime Oats assistant, so it's safe to say he's well versed in ways to compete with them.

That’s the beauty of basketball and why you shouldn’t get too high or low during the regular season IMO. A lot of Bama fans want to whine when the tide fails to win or win by 15. Just make the tournament baby and see what happens. It takes every single one of those 28 regular season games to form a team come March. They have the right guy running things now and I feel like UK does too.
