Looking past little brother's troubles, and the others, what are the long-term impacts on College Basketball?

No more one-and-done?
No more college basketball teams? - going to a Club system like Soccer in Europe
No more AAU? (I believe it is over personally)

If more teams are involved, and the investigation continues, this could be the death nail to College Basketball. I believe the NCAA will respond to try to save their ass and billions and try to implement changes to the system.

I think the OP is off, about college basketball going to a club system. There are only 60 players drafted each year. This past draft 10 of those did not play college ball (9 international & Ferguson). Of those other 50, if I counted right, only 17 of them were good enough to be OAD (& at most that many more were 2AD). There are 300+ D1 teams, approximately 4000 D1 basketball players. There will be teams, and players for those teams, it is too big of a cash cow for the Universities to not keep playing.

I would love to see AAU gone. Same for travel teams in other sports (mainly baseball). But I'm not sure we will see that. But AAU will be slowed down, I think you will see less involvement from the shoe companies in AAU, so the tournaments & coaches may change some.

The OAD, is an NBA rule, not a college rule. I haven't seen anything yet where this could hit the NBA. But they have been discussing for awhile changing the OAD rule, so I won't be surprised to see it change, but it won't be because of this.

An interesting question will what will happen to the many players linked to this. I can't see anyway they will be eligible this season. I guess they will go play overseas. If they are then still drafted highly, and OAD stays in place, I could see a few more playing overseas for a season before joining the NBA in the future.

What do you mean you want travel teams done away with?
