Favorite game against Arkansas

Well we DID beat them in a Final Four game, but I really only remember Macy hitting free throws.

95 SEC Championship. I was 7 years old and it was the first cats game that I have watched. Been a fan ever since.

95 game was most memorable. The year before is most overlooked - SEC Tourney final win over the top-ranked Hogs. Cats made a ton of threes, won by 13 or so.

I know this is not vs. UK, but this is still one of my favorite Arkansas games.

Was at this game. Since it was in Austin, the Longhorn fans in attendance were pulling for UL since the Hogs were a big rival to the Horns. But as soon as that shot went in, everyone went nuts. I believe the only other buzzer beater I ever watched in person, was the Utah BB that beat UK in the '76 UKIT Finals.

93 SEC tourney semi at Rupp. Was my first SEC tournament. First we ran UT with Alan Houston and Jermaine Brown 101-40 out of the gym. Then beat Razorbacks with an asshole Arky fan (is there any other kind?) sitting right in front of me.
Remember it was the Blizzard of the Bluegrass tourney.

Was there also. I was hoarse for a week. Nasty drive home.

Favorite Arky win is 95 SECT no doubt. Last years SECT was fun too

How do you beat a win in the Final Four?

By hating Corliss Williamson, Scotty Thurman, that big ass Stewart and their fat headed, race-card playing coach THAT much.

But seriously, that game and that win, capped an era of excitement and level of play between the two programs and, quite frankly, within the league, that has not been seen before or since. A crucially important game in UK history. btw, Arkansas was the defending National Champions at the time.

For me it's because I wasn't born until after 1978.

Mine is the 93 SEC Tourney. Went with my dad in all that snow. We jumped out to a 17-0 lead and Rupp was electric that day. They clawed back and almost caught us but we stretched it back out late. Pitino owned Nolan in the SEC-T and Nolan owned Rick in the regular season.

(The 93 team was the first one I went REALLY crazy for because I went from "little kid" to "big kid" around that time and started to understand the game and develop a passion for it. Mashburn will always be my favorite Cat. I left the Superdome - also with dad - in tears, as in embarrassing, sobbing, snot bubbles in the nose, kid tears after the Michigan loss.)

95 SEC championship. On my top 5 all time UK games list.
Yep. I'd vote it best non-NCAA Tourney game in my memory. The 31 point comeback against LSU was more spectacular, but LSU wasn't really any good that year. Arkansas in 95 was defending NCAA Champ, with a good chance to repeat (came up only 1 game short). Huge win that seemed like it was going to propel UK to the FF.

Which is part of the reason that the absolute dogsh** performance against UNC in the Elite 8 stung so much. Still, can't remember too many games better than that 95 SEC Tourney final.
