Those are the ones I've settled on. I flip flop between them as to which ones I like best.

-if wearing a tie you cant beat made to measure. I have an 18" neck and a 35-36" waist...so off the rack stuff doesn't fit me well. If you are able to wear otr I like New England Shirt Company and Gitman...i have "sport shirts" from both and they are well made in the USofA. Paul Stuart is nice as well.

-for oxfords i like flint & tinder and brooks bros.

-if you are looking for a nice button down sport shirt(no tie)...try gustin. Made in California and crowdfunded (ergo: affordable).

-you can go to a mens store (logans and others) and have mtm shirts made for you...but its expensive. Ive never done the online mtm but there are a few folks doing it that have been around so it must work. I actually use a guy that travels and is in Lexington a few times a year...unlimited choices in fabric and costs quite a bit less than brooks bros otr.

Express in the mall. Get the performance dress shirts. Has to say performance on the shirt label. Never have to iron them and they feel great and look even better.

Usually they have 50% off. $20 bones.

You're welcome.

for bumming around in, i go with Reel Legends. They're colorful, breathable, and silky smooth.

Big fan of Charles Tyrwhitt as well. I have 8 dress shirts and love them all. Come with a collar stays and keep form well through multiple washes.

I definitely like the Gold Label.

I also like Calvin Klein X Stretch

Gap makes a good shirt as well as Brooks Brothers.

It ultimately depends on your price range. All of the following run 40-70 dollars. Keep an eye out for sales. You can get Michael by Michael Kors at Macy's sometimes on sale for 17.99.

Also, like said above, find someone who can tailor it. I am lucky and have a family member who tailors all my clothes. Just a tad of modifications can make the biggest difference.

Right now indochino has shirts 5 for $279. Absolutely worth it. The Helston wrinkle free shirts are good if you’re looking for a solid color/white shirt.

Nothing looks worse than a baggy suit or dress shirt. Fit is 100 times more important than anything else.

Are the Indochino suits worth it?
