Good point. When you have guys on the field with this type of length, it can't hurt. Very excited about the defense and all the new pieces. The smaller wide receivers typically don't play in the boundary. They play the field because they're faster and shiftier for the most part so they have more space to work. The boundary is typically saved for the 6'4"++ wide receivers. That's why Tiller had so many problems. Every single WR he guarded dwarfed him on his side and he couldn't physically match up. Westry will have some growing pains but I hope we are able to stick with him the whole year. He will be a super star here.
The New York Giants had tall corners and safeties back in the late 90's. They had good success with the lineup. You just have to be able to change direction like the smaller WR can. Very excited to see what this defense can do.

Freshman on an island is not comforting
Agree. Look at the CBs Stoops has developed over the years. For him to have a level of confidence to label them as such and start them should be somewhat comforting!Stoops called the freshmen who are starting "game changers." They are starting because they won the jobs. So, they will probably be better in the SEC than those they unseated.
He was said to be top 3 fastest on the team so 4.40 is probably accurate
Fluid hips are the unspoken key to an SEC championship. Bama has those hips in droves
