Wyoming wins the College Basketball Invitational in 3 games over Coastal Carolina. It was Wyoming's first title of any type since the 1943 NCAA championship. This is his first year as head coach. Glad to hear he is doing well.

I've always wondered why teams would even want to play in that tournament. If you aren't good enough to even make the NIT, does winning that tournament really mean anything? Maybe it does.

Wyoming coach Allen Edwards said the difference in elevation was a factor: Laramie is 7,220 feet above sea level. Coastal Carolina's home in Conway, S.C. is 33 feet. With that in mind, he pushed the tempo.
