Every year I'm dumbfounded as to why top recruits pick Duke. Just dumbfounded.
From the other side, this is my take/what I hear.
Bamba - Really haven't heard anything Pro Duke(or negative for that matter) but does seem to mention UK in everything related to him. Feels like Duke has almost Conceded this recruitment(my feelings)
Duval - Haven't heard news on him one way or the other, Just a lot of pro Duke tweets and articles. The Duke circle seems to feel the most confident about this recruitment.
Knox - Was heavy UNC lean rumors for about 4 or so months. Seems on the Duke front, a lot of positive vibes the last 2 weeks(Had 2 meetings with Coach K since Duke lost) The rumor of those meetings is what is probably creating that smoke.
So I think the Schools get one a piece when its all said and done.

Isn't Knox suppose to announce after the final 4 and before April 15th I thought. So that could be telling...
On twitter he said he will annoucne at Nike Hoop Summit. Believe that is April 7th.

It’s not yet clear when Bamba will make a college decision. He said Tuesday he has no timetable for the announcement. But the Wildcats are in good shape.
“I like Kentucky,” said Scout.com’s Evan Daniels, who recorded a podcast with Bamba that will be available online Wednesday. “If I was going to take a guess at where I thought he was going to go, I’d say Kentucky.”
Knox plans to announce his decision a few days after the Jordan Brand Classic on April 14.
“I like Carolina and Duke in that one,” Daniels said. “If I was going to take a pick, I would go with one of those two.”

Jarred Vanderbilt is very good and seems to improve every time I watch him play.

Vanderbilt is a stud SF. He may not be as good a shooter as Knox (that may be your one obsession) but that MKG guy was pretty good for UK and V seems to do everything else other than shoot better than Knox.
Bamba is Kentucky bound...let's hope our recruiting staff of 17 year old's successfully pull KK into the fold.
i like Knox and wish we could sign the kid at Kentucky, but if we lose out on Knox and end up singing Bamba, it is going to be really hard to feel upset. Bamba is the type of frontcourt player every coach in the nation imagines while thinking about what he wants as a frontcourt player. The kid probably doesn't have a chance to be as good as the hype around him, but thats not his fault. If Bamba does live up to his billing with his measurables, good luck on scoring on Kentucky in the post next season. Dude has the potential that only a few bigs in the NBA currently have. The tools are there to turn this kid into a major post player. If Kentucky signs Bamba and Knox, watch out. I know many think Knox is the elite SF in this recruiting class, but many forget that Washinton is also elite at the 3 and 4. The other kid we signed seems to only get better after every game, so before we hate on the fact we dont have the elite sf on our roster yet again, let's at least wait and see how these two kids pan out before thinking this as fact.
He actually gets paid for doing stuff like this and this is what he comes up with? Where do I apply for work like that?
I'm guessing Bamba and Knox go to a college in the United States and announce sometime before this fall.
On this podcast with Kyle Tucker and Joe Mussatto (who was at McDAA week) Mussato says he thinks Knox is more likely to come to UK than Bamba.
Tucker thought Bamba was more likely to go to UK previously but maybe not anymore.

Not sure...didn't really say losing steam just said he got the impression being at the McDAA events that Knox was closer to the other UK guys and was more positive with his comments about UK than Bamba was.
Wow. He came to that conclusion just from observing who Knox and Bamba talked to and about the most. That is a awesome.
We really need a shooter in this class. From what I've read Knox is a pretty good shooter. If we don't sign him, I know Cal is looking at a couple of other shooting guards in the class that aren't nearly as highly ranked as Knox. either of those other guards could back up Diallo at the 2 spot.
As for Bamba, if we can get him we would have the best front line in college basketball next season.
