How do you rank someone who hasnt played one professional game against a perineal all star??In their defense Carmelo is a one way player and team chemistry killer.
You project I guess. Personally, I think they're both overrated. Can't be elite if you can't play D, both are atrocious defenders. How do you rank someone who hasnt played one professional game against a perineal all star??
On the offensive end. He will be owned on a regular basis playing "defense". He simply isn't athletic enough. Some of you might want to dispense with the narrative that Lonzo is going to suck. He's going to be an excellent NBA point guard.
Well of course they do. ESPN is in the ratings business, not the news business.
This isn't really surprising. Lonzo is a huge talent. Not sure why so many UK fans have such a difficult time giving anyone from anywhere else any credit.
The kid is a baller, and it's ok to admit.
Glad i didnt hear it but a friend texted me about it. Amazing how some people are allowed to have a job.... but i can see whyApparently, they are now in the Left Wing politics business after the recent rants, to include Jemele Hill's today...
I think it's dumb. Ball will probably make a good to great NBA player. But are we supposed to believe Ball is better than Carmelo right now when he's never played an NBA game? Can the dude have a rookie season first? Quite stupid.

He does still have to guard an NBA pg though, right?Yeah, but they didn't draft him to play defense. They also signed KCP to play lockdown perimeter D, and Ingram has defensive skill at the wing.
Ball is intuitive and opportunistic on D, but pretty bad one on one. Luckily that shouldn't matter much with the guys playing beside him.

Ball's defense is a work in progress, just ask Fox.In their defense Carmelo is a one way player and team chemistry killer.

Carmelo is old and doesn't give two shits about anything anymore except his paycheck. He's never been big on defense anyway.
I'd take Ball over him right now.

Everyone who can sniff the NBA is a baller. Lonzo Ball included, but he has severe deficiencies in his game that will be exposed on the NBA level. His lateral quickness will be an issue on defense and offense. He already has an awkward shot and defenders will be able to crowd him since he can't beat his man off the bounce and affect passing lanes. This isn't really surprising. Lonzo is a huge talent. Not sure why so many UK fans have such a difficult time giving anyone from anywhere else any credit.

I'm not defending Lonzo Ball, just saying Carmelo is a team killer.Ball is a one way player and has a father who has put a huge target on him. Every other NBA guy will be out to prove he isn't what Lavar and ESPN has made him out to be.

The Lakers still don't have the cap space to sign 2 max guys. This is an objective fact and I was 100% right no matter how many Bleacher Report articles you cite.Lmao"I defend Nazis" wtf does that even mean? You sound ridiculous man.
Thanks for the chuckle . I always wondered why nobody on this board takes you seriously (like nobody...) Now I know why .
You still seem upset that you were 100% wrong about the Lakers/ 2 max players discussion. Not a big deal buddy.
That being said, I do enjoy your contributions to the board. Let's not hijack the thread with silly political accusations. You need stick to discussion at hand ok? Sound good bud? Good![]()

I shouldn't have to explain this to you but if they have to make space under the cap to sign 2 max guys, that means that they don't currently have the space to sign 2 max guys like I said. Until they make the moves to get enough cap space, they in fact do not have enough cap space. They *will* have (make room) the cap space though. It's a Fact. Point blank period .
Myself and many others proved you wrong bud. Serval times in fact. Again, it's NOT a big deal. It's ok to wrong. Everyone's wrong sometimes (some more than others obviously) back pedaling and deflecting just looks desperate. I don't think less of you or anything. Honestly I don't.
Anyways , carry on. Let's stick to the discussion at hand. Hope you're doing well!![]()
