Really? UK was a 15 pt favorite over Miami of Ohio, a team predicted to win their division, and the Cats won 37-13 and outscored them 30-6 (2 FGs) over the last 3 quarters.
Yet we drop 2?
This is the type of garbage that reveals the true hate for UK.
This is why we need to go down to Florida Sat. and play with a chip on our shoulder and earn some damn respect!
Heading into this season Kentucky has 33 wins over the last 4 yrs (including 4 consecutive bowl wins for the 1st time in school history!) which is the best 4 yr span in 70 yrs at UK yet the respect is still not there.
Time to take some damn respect in Gainsville!

I mean sure we struggled to run the football and at times Will was under pressure but damn look at the final score!
We played well in most facets of the game and the final score is indicative of just that!
Plus we were without 3 of our best players and Horsey was limited!

We will learn a lot, but I wouldn't say that a loss would mean we are not a top 25 team. Utah is certainly a quality team and they couldn't get it done in the swamp.

Unfortunately, a loss WOULD probably mean that the pollsters would ignore us for a few weeks.

Not sure 4 years outweighs 70 years but we are heading in that direction. 33 wins in 4 years is impressive even by my standards. I think we go down to Florida and win outright. I mean there is no reason to believe otherwise. We finished last year on a high note and we came out of the gate 2 special team TD's one of which we haven't had since 2013. So we have done a little better than we thought. We knew the running game would take a hit because C-Rod and Levis got his 300 and 3 TD's. So as long as they do there Job we should be ok.

Better fix the O line and secondary or we won’t be ranked anywhere. Sagging 15 yards off a receiver because you’re afraid of getting burned deep isn’t going to cut it. And Levis was under pressure constantly.
I know it’s only one game, and based on that game it looks like our receiving corp is better than last year, O line looks worse, secondary looks the same which is disappointing, and Levis looks sharp. But I thought he started getting a little happy feet from the pressure.
Rankings don’t matter until later in the season.

The 4 year win total of 33 games actually ties the school best, from 1947-50. UK went 33-10-2 during those 4 seasons. The past 4 seasons, UK has gone 33-17.

I seriously doubt there is any "East coast hatred" for UK football. In fact, I doubt anyone outside of KY residents and the alumni scattered around the globe care one way or the other. If anything, when it comes to UK football, I think most writers and pundits are apathetic. UK has been such a non-factor for so long most are genuinely unaware of the program.
